Know Your Customer Guideline

Making your identification a easy job!

You can easily request customer identification by logging into your account, going to the "Settings" section, and filling out the complete form. We strive to process your request quickly, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Before submitting your customer identification application, please read the manual carefully to ensure that your application meets all requirements and to make the identification process as smooth as possible.

In four simple steps:

1 Scan your ID document

2 Write a note with the text: Txbit, today's date and your signature

4 Make a selfie with your ID document and the handwritten note.

5 Log in to your account and fill in the KYC form

Step 1

Scan ID Document

To begin the verification process, take a clear and bright picture or scan of the front and back of your passport, ID card, or driver's license. Please ensure that the scan meets our requirements to avoid any delays.

Here are some important conditions to keep in mind:

1 The scan must be in full color; black and white images will be rejected.

2 Your ID must be in good condition and without any tears, as damaged documents will be rejected.

3 Any identity document that is severely damaged will be rejected.

4 An identity document without any security features will also be rejected.

5 Cropped images or those with reflections are not acceptable and may result in rejection.

Step 2

Make a handwritten note

What do you need?

1 Paper

2 Pen or marker

3 The same ID document that you used for the scan

4 Phone, camera, or webcam

Write "Txbit", today's date, and your signature on the paper. Ensure that the written text is clear and visible. Please note: We do not accept printed text on paper or handwritten notes on a mobile phone or tablet.

Step 3

Make a selfie

Take a selfie with your ID document and the handwritten note. Ensure that your face, ID document, and note are clearly visible in the selfie.

Keep in mind

1 If you wear glasses, make sure your eyes are clearly visible.

2 Avoid wearing a hat or cap.

3 Double-check to ensure that everything in your selfie is readable.

Tips for the perfect selfie!

To meet the requirements, it is important to take a good selfie. Here are some tips to take the perfect selfie for a smooth verification process:

1 Use a sticky note and stick it to your chest.
2 Use a paperclip and attach the written note to your ID document.
3 Ask a friend to take the picture, so you have both hands free to hold the written note and your ID document.

Step 4

Fill out the KYC form by logging into your Txbit account, going to your dashboard, and completing the Know Your Customer form. We aim to process your request within 24 hours, and you will receive an email notification when your KYC request is complete.

Pending
Your verification is being processed.

Approved
Congratulations! Your verification has been approved, and you are now level 2 verified.

Rejected
If your verification is rejected, you will receive a notification explaining the reason(s) for the rejection. Review the notification carefully to understand what needs improvement or additional information.

Please be assured that the customer identification process is solely controlled by Txbit and we do not share any data with third parties. What is level 1 verification?

The first level of verification, level 1, is achieved through email verification. Once you register and activate your account via email, your account will be level 1 verified, and withdrawal limits will apply.

What is level 2 verification?

The second level of verification, level 2, is full verification. Once you submit your customer identification application and it is approved by the Txbit team, your account will be level 2 verified, and no withdrawal limits will apply.
